I came in for a scheduled consult regarding a dental emergency—a molar infection with a possible root canal needed. The office insisted I take a CT scan, even though I had a Cone Beam CT (CBCT) done yesterday and brought it on a USB drive. They told me they ‘don’t accept outside CT scans and don’t have to,’ claiming theirs is a ‘360 scan.’ I explained that my scan is in standard DICOM format, is part of my health records, and that I wanted to avoid unnecessary radiation. They still refused to use it. When I asked for a written explanation of why they couldn’t accept my dental record, they would not provide one. Refusing to accept a recent CBCT scan is not standard practice and goes against professional guidelines—forcing patients to repeat scans unnecessarily exposes them to extra radiation. They wouldn’t even review my CBCT to see if it was sufficient for treatment. I cannot recommend this office. Also, the carpets were visibly stained and dirty—if they can’t maintain a clean office, how can you trust them with your dental care?

Quick and painless. Easy to get appt. seemed more knowledgeable than my past dentist. Finally my teeth have stopped hurting after a year.
